How do you recruit Malamar?
Malamar appears in the “Topsy-turvy” habitat in every region as a Rare spawn (all times, all weather). To build “Topsy-turvy”, place Lampion ×3 — 1 item in total. Talk to Malamar when it shows up in the habitat to become friends and recruit it to your town. Bubbly Basin is only accessible with Expansion Pass Part 1 (DLC). When building its home, decorate the surroundings with its ideal environment (Bright), its favorite flavor (Sour Flavors), its favorite things (Complicated stuff, Strange stuff, Colorful stuff) in mind. Once recruited, it helps around town with the Gather, Teleport specialties.
