How do you recruit Skiploom?
Event-exclusive · “More Spores for Hoppip” (Mar 10 – 25, 2026)
- Event-exclusive: during the limited-time “More Spores for Hoppip” event (Mar 10 – 25, 2026), collect Spores on Dream Islands and exchange them for event items.
- Use those items to build the “Yellow carpet” / “Field-trip friends” habitat — Skiploom appears there, and talking to it makes it your friend.
- Befriended Pokémon stay in your town after the event ends. Check the official announcements for reruns outside the event period.
Skiploom appears in the “Yellow carpet” habitat in every region as a Rare spawn (all times, all weather). To build “Yellow carpet”, place Dandy flowers ×4 — 1 item in total. Skiploom appears in the “Field-trip friends” habitat in every region as a Common spawn (all times, all weather). To build “Field-trip friends”, place Flower backpack ×1, Hoppip water bottle ×1, Lunch box ×1 — 3 items in total. When building its home, decorate the surroundings with its ideal environment (Bright), its favorite flavor (Dry flavors), its favorite things (Soft stuff, Lots of nature, Nice breezes) in mind.
